OK could be a spyware thing. Do you have a program like SPYBOT on your machine??? You could also do a copy over on your OS. If you have a win 98 cd, reinstall the OS.

To Correct the homepage do the following: Go to Start/Run and Type REGEDIT and click on the OK. The registry editor will come up. Now click on the + next to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Then Click on the + next to Software, Next click on the + next to Microsoft, Then click on the + next to Internet Explorer, then click on the Main Folder and look for the Start Page String in the Right hand window. Right click on it and chose Modify and type in your Home Page URL and close the Registry and reboot. you should be back to your own home page now. Hope that helps.

Re-install Win98?? Why???????
If you are using Spybot, open it and click the 'Immunize' button. Scroll down and uncheck 'Lock IE Start page setting...'.
If you don't have Spybot installed, Click Start > Run > type regedit and click OK. Navigate to : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel
In the right hand window, double click on Homepage. Change the value data from a 1 to a 0 (zero) and click OK. Close regedit.
