Reply: (edit)i think you mean himeM.sys basically himem.sys sorts out what is known as 'high memory' for use by the PC. high memory is that above 640Kb's, and without himem.sys, your pc will not use however much ram you have. i have put a copy on the net for you, go to: http://briefcase.yahoo.com/clscomputers click on my documents and download the high memory control and put it in c:\windows\ and c:\windows\system\ and you should have better luck when you reboot.
