Does anyone know if it is true, that there is hidden messages in messages in MS Word. I heard if you type a something regarding Bill Gates you get a message after doing a spell check....Does anyone know about such a thing and if so how does it work.

There was something on one of the local San Francisco stations years ago that said, for certain MS programs, if you type in a combination of keys, you will get a pop-up screen with information about the people who wrote the programs. I've never checked this out.

actually they are coincidental...the spell check reads your text and tries to ameliorate it...they aren;t hidden messages and they are not intentional.

These are known as 'Easter Eggs'. I did a search using Northernlight.com for "easter egg" AND word and got several thousand hits.
I only checked out one. Nothing about the spell-check thing, but found a neat little pinball game in Word '97
