That's not much info to go on, go to HP's site and download the manual for it or check their help area if they have one yet.

12open or no ep. paper path door is not closed or the ep-l cartridge is not installed. close paper path door or install the cartridge. if erros persists, printer requires service.

I have windows 98. One of the programs I have has glitches. I was informed that I need to update the driver so it is compatible with my printing program. Can you help me? I would appreciate the address so I can get to the program. I spend a lot of time wandering around searching for the right program and as of this time and space have not been successful.

12 OPEN or no EP
1. The printer door/lid is open. 2. Check DC Power Supply voltages or replace DC Power Supply. 3. DC Controller malfunction. 4. Tab missing on top cover. 5. 220V unit plugged into 110V outlet. (Mostly caused by faulty DC power supply)

Summary: Hi! I need some help with a computer that belongs to a friend of mine, (its old but it works). whenever it starts up, you see the blue Hewlett Packard screen, then you see the windows 98 splash screen...
Summary: Sounds like it encountered a hardware problem during self test. You might start here: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Home.jsp?locale=en_US&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=25491&prodS...
