My girlfriend currently has a major problem. Either someone has hacked her internet acct (not so likely) or the computer has a virus(like the Back Orifice). Whenever her or her younger brother use ICQ and are chatting with their friends, some weird uninvited stranger joins in and starts abusing them and/ir popsup dialog boxes with abusive messages. This person has complete control over their computer as i have witnessed the CD-ROM door openeing and closing and the computer being shutdown by this person. I have tried the AVP program (avp.com) but it cause more trouble than it was worth.
PLEASE HELP!
Sounds like the hacker is using back orifice, I believe if you go to the www.winfiles.com there is a program specifically for using back orifice, and if you want to keep it from happening again, go into your icq preferences, under security, select hide ip. that is how they found out about the unit all together, if you go to astalavista.box.sk they also have some kewl icq security programs.

Well lets see...maybe not back orifce but netbus!!! Get protection from it at my page... http://w3.to/hackerz/ and maybe get some protecton...or if it is netbus hold ctrl alt del and quit the program patch or nomsg!!!! If u need further help contact me..the lady above knows shit!!!

U do have netbus sounds like netbus pro, these type of trojans are very halmful (I should konw, One person nearly trashed my pc)
good advice would be, as the bloke above said is to get a scanner of a netbus remover.

well yall are a bunch of stupid idiots. except for hacker 4-life. we sounds like he knows something. the problem is you have no protection at all. you need to get a nuke nabber and warforge ICQ bomb protecter. then you need to get netbuster 1.31 and back orifice eliminator. hey hacker 4-life e-mail me. you sound real.

well well well...Timba Woof98 has got a great point and you should listen to him, about the Netbuster 1.31 ,but The person can't be hacking you through netbus, unless you accepted a file from any idiot with an icon looking like a sattelite! that is the patch.exe file used to hack ppl through netbus...DELETE THAT FILE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o) but you must get the icq99 add-on and retrace your steps on your icq and make sure that your ip-address isn't listed anywhere for any shit-head hacker to see!!! Anyway...get the guys icq number and mail ICQ and give them his number and tell them that you have probs with this asswipe!

heres a solution delete icq all it is used for is hacking,and back orfis rocks,you can hack anyone its connected to a patch that is put in windows so it can opperation correctly

there is some file in my C: drive ...
which with the name Win368.swp ....
it's bout 44 mb ...which i can't delete it and move it ... i'm hopeless ...and on top of that ... my icq can't online ..
although i uninstall it ... i hope there nothing to do with some .OCX files ...
so ... for any one out there ... PLS HELP ME !

Ok this guy on chat said that i nuked him but i didnt cuz i dont even know how... but anywayz to the point he said that he was going to sue me and all kinds of crap for messin up his computer but i didnt do one thing i can promise that!!!! OK, Netbus Detective I have found to be very useful..it gives "their" IP immediately..
and then you turn them in to the ONLINE FBI..
I have done that and have cases pending.
I also found that most Hackers Use ICQ and/or Netmeeting...
You simply study the programs "if you must use them" and block them from getting your IP#.
On Start..run..then type in winipcfg..
there you locate the IP...
you can hide yours there.
If you feel someone has you,,immediately shut down, reboot completely to have a new IP#..then you lose them again.
In Netmeeting just make the mistake of collaborating and they have your whole computer in a copy & paste...
cover your ass..
They can wipe you out totally...

First:stop messing around with ircs, aols,chats etc. or at least get a decent firewall.
Secondly: get a virus scanner like NAV 2000 or F-prot for example. And in addition a trojan cleaner like BoClean. www.nsclean.com. More security: update your IE browser with the latest security patches or use Netscape, disable javascript and activeX-controls etc. in your web browser.
AND STOP LISTENING THESE IDIOTS OF THE PREVIOUS RESPONSES.

Dear Friends
All of these new Hacking programs use MSCONFIG.exe to remain in your computer so :
run Msconfig.exe (win98\system) and try to find the comment wich runs the program(most in Systerm.ini/boot) and delete it (uncheck it) or call some one to do it for you :)
