I wonder if you mean SpywareBlaster?

If you do then what it is showing is known badies that it is willing to protect you from (not that they are already in your machine).

When you get SpywareBlaster updates all you have to do is tell it to click "Enable all protection" and the job is done. They can no longer get into your machine and no trips to the registry are required.

Apologies if "Spy ware blasters" is some other program that I've not run into.

It could be a "knock off" name on a program/utility to try to lure people into thinking it's something that it's not. I've seen it mentioned in the LangaList. I tend to think it is if it found 1500 entries.....

It's a good day when you learn something

The good "SpywareBlaster" (no space) that I referred to in #1 is the freebie from JavaCool. If it is anything else then shout back because it might be a rogue program as Dan Penny suggests.

I believe there is a rogue program with a very similar name "Spyware Blaster" with a space. Programs that try to goad you into a "paid for" version to cure the problems are almost always suspect (and the reported problems are often faked).

If you have any doubts about what you have on there quote the "exact" program name and any version number or website associated with it and we will advise you further.

I am sorry, yes it is SpywareBlaster, I understand that it blocks this stuff, but I went into my registry just to look to see if they were there and they were already in my registry. Junk like coolwebsearch.com, sexteens.com, just all kind of mess like this some that I just cant believe. What I am asking is there any of these in my registry that I must not delete? I thank you so much for your help with this!

Unless you are getting any problems I really don't think you need to worry about these.

Both "SpywareBlaster" and "SpyBot Search & Destroy" (among others) record these entries, so that they can block any intrusion and prevent your accidental access to these websites. If you look through your anti-malware programs in detail you will see them all repeated there too.

If it makes you feel any better I was just as worried when I first found my registry full of this stuff. It's just the way these sort of programs do their job for you, like a data base. They are no problem (in fact you might invite problems if you take them out).

Mary, DerekW is correct in his last post. If you remove these registry entries SpywareBlaster and probably Spybot S & D immunize will be rendered ineffective. These entries are put there by SpywareBlaster and Spybot S&D immunize and are needed and harmless. They just look suspicious due to their names etc.

You're welcome Mary, can't be too careful these days especially with kids accessing the Internet.

Thanks for posting back.
