Comment:

I have recently upgraded a NT Domain.

The old domain name was say; DOMAIN_1

New domain name is DOMAIN_2

All clients are WIN98

When you click on Network neighborhood, the following is listed under 'entire network':

DOMAIN_1
DOMAIN_2
WORKGROUP

I would like it to only list DOMAIN_2 as the DOMAIN_1 no longer exists... and they dont use the workgroup

I cant seem to find the fix for this anywhere...

It is going to confuse the users when they browse the network and see the old domain... I want it gone!

Please help

Assumed you changed the log onto domain in the client properties?
Are any Win9x clients running file/print sharing service? If so, I would disable them as browse masters (one guess).
Another guess... make sure their "workgroup" settings on the identification tab are all the same Domain_2, as Win9x systems don't really 'join' domains, they merely log you into domains.
