Comment: @ startup, P.C win 98 se fails to boot up. No O/P from monitor, removed all cards except S3 virge graphics card. F.S.A Fan on CPU spins O.K, so power is avail. Reply: (edit)Maybe something is dead. Could be Mobo, cpu, Ram, or video card. Try a different video card. Try differnt RAM. Try different CPU. if you still can't get it working, your montherboard may be dead. Did it beep at all when it tries to POST?
What kind of mobo?

Reply: (edit)Already tried a diffrent s3 card. Mo Bo = bxcel 100 with 726 BIOS I think? Thanks for the response though matey. Don't think it beeped, although keyboard lights lit temp , but fdd did Not when disk inserted.
