Comment: Okay i have a 10gb western digital hard drive in my computer right now and its working fine. I have a 13gb Quantum and i want to add it but my computer wont detect it. I set the jumper for Master on my 10gb and slave on my 13gb and it wont detect any drives. I tried to set my 13gb just as a single drive but it wont detect it either, the only drive that seems to work is my 10gb setup for single. Please Help. Maybe i'm doing somthing wrong can someone give me step-by-step direction to install both hd's from scratch (formatted)

Reply: (edit)two ways: either make the Quantum drive the master and the western digital drive the slave on the same cable. or put the second drive on a seperate cable and put it on the secondary master port. That way you could use both drives as master. however make sure you go into the bios and change the setting from not installed to auto, that way it should work.
