Comment: I am running win 98 SE and lately i have been getting a message stating that my files has been replaced by an older files. The files are DDEML.DLL, mcicda.drv, WINASPI.DLL where can i download the win 98 SE up-to-date DLL files or any suggestions on how to fix this? thanks.

Reply: (edit)You should be able to go to Start, Run, msinfo32, Tools, Version Conflict Manager (VCM). There you should be able to locate the replaced files and also be able to reinsert the ones that were replaced. HTH Bryan

Reply: (edit)I have tried the SFC function in Microsoft Windows, but even they replaced from the CD, it still does not work. Any ideas? I also tried the Version Conflict Manager, there is nothing can be done also. Please advice.
