Reply: (edit)Are you sure your disk is bad.Did you try to clean it. If you are sure its bad then you need to buy a new one. I have never heard of bill gates giving away his software. But if im wrong please let me know where you find it for free.

Reply: (edit)Howdy, Do as Mr. Tech God says, I thought my name was crazy. Anyways, it is rare that the CD-ROM's die unless you are ruff with them, anyways if you do find a place to download 95, number 1 its against the law and Number 2 it most likely will contain a virus. Just go out and buy the full version of 98. Laters, Kevin The Tech Dude.

Reply: (edit)First try the CD in another drive (friend's?) to see if the CD is really bad. If it reads then it's your drive that's bad. If it doesn't work in a known-good drive then try cleaning the shiny surface and check for scratches. Sounds like either the CD is just corrupted or the drive may need cleaning (kits are available) or replacement. Make sure you can even see the drive in My Computer. Good Luck!
