Help!!! My PC cannot boot from hard drive
My PC cannot boot from hard drive. I can boot it from the floppy. What I did, (1) I did format the C disk, using “format C: /S”. My pc still cannot boot from hard drive. (2) I reinstalled the OS Windows 98. After the related files were copied to hard disk C, it restarted. But the problem is still there --- cannot boot from the hard drive.
You might want to check the jumpers on the hard drive if you have it set to slave and it is the only harddrive then I don't think that it would boot from the hard drive. Not positive just something to check out.
