Reply: (edit)This may be some sort of spyware. However you may be able to use a little trick to keep this from opening. Click on the Start menu and select run. Then type in "msconfig". It should open up a window called Systom Configuration Utility. When you get that open click in the Startup tab in the top right corner of the System Configuration Utility. Scroll down and if you see Internet Explorer in the list be sure it isn't checked. Then click OK.

Reply: (edit)Do you mean when you open the 'my computer' icon, IE starts up? As gort mentions, that is something adware or spyware can do. You may want to run adware and/or spybot listed in this link: http://computing.net/security/wwwboard/tools.html
