i have a p166 64meg and i cant get any color than 16 bit also at start up has vnetbios.exe has erros 1fb and error#2 and says unable to install the standard pci device.and unable to locate driver.i just re installed windows 2nd edition for the 10th time still no better.

have u checked if ur graphics drivers are still installed? if by chance, ur VGA ie, graphics drivers are uninstalled, thre's no point in reinstalling the OS.

check if ur graphics drivers are still installed. if the drivers have got uninstalled, there's no pt reinstalling win98. try reinstalling ur graphics (VGA) driver. good luck.
