I have an Avance Logic als4000 PCI and, the sound is so low i active te control panel volume up an nothing works....? any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm stuck Thanks Laura G.

i have the same sound card and it works fine. go to control panel, system,device drivers, sound and remove any drivers in sound and reinstall the drivers.

Not sure from your post. Did you double click on the yellow speaker in the Systray and check the volume controls?
