Comment:

1-After installing 4.3 WD caviar HD and the
Floppy disk drive...I noticed that their LEDS
are always on!
2- How to set the jumper of the HD to MASTER
provided that I have a CD-ROM set to slave??
Thanx (email me please)

The red wire on the ribbon and power cable go toward the inside on the back of the HD, look for pin 1. The ribbon cable's red wire is on #1 on the motherboard connection.
The floppy should have pin #1 marked on it, red on the ribbon on that one also. the power to the floppy is probably red wire to the outside. Put the ribbon cable of the floppy on the right way also on the board.
If you have two IDE slots on the board, set the HD and cdrom to master and put the HD in IDE1 and cdrom in IDE2. The floppy slot should be marked FDC. If only one IDE slot, put the HD on the end of the ribbon cable.
The cdrom should say MA,SL,CS or master, slave and cable select. Try pin 3&5 for master and 5&6 for master with slave on the HD, should also be marked on the drive like the cdrom.
