HDD diagnostic finds no errors

I posted earlier about not being able to boot and it was suggested to download and run the diagnostic utility for the hard drive. I did and both the quick test and extended test state that no errors are found. What should I do now? Should I write zeros to drive (quick or extended)? Any suggestions please. Thanks Linda

Since it looks like all the data is gone anyway, writing zeros to the drive won't hurt. When it's done, run fdisk, Y to large disk support, then option 4. Post back exactly what it says there.
