Comment: My HD is chattering constantly, and it is driving me nuts...the busy light is always on and something is going on there. I instally a 'Go Back' program since I am in 98 and have no system restore. I know it could be the new program, so I try control, alternate, delete, shut it down and the thing is still chattering. I have norton antivirus up to date...so what could cause all this noise and busy-ness? TY

Reply: (edit)I guess I feel it wouldn't be a finished forum if I did not write back to tell people that the go back program did cause the "chattering" as it was constantly working.
