Okay, here's the deal. All of a sudden I'm having some serious display problems. It starts with my desktop icons having this white square background to them(using windows standard color scheme), then it will start affecting my IE toolbars(buttons missing until you mouse over them), and then it will start to affect the page in the window where stuff doesn't appear until you mouse over it. My video card is a GeForce4mx420. I have the card for at least 8 months with no troubles like this. I tried d/l and installing the latest drivers, but didn't fix anything.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated,

I recomend that you change first the display setting
go to display properties in appearance choose
a desktop theme ,eccept black. If this don't solve your problem try uninstallin and installing again the videodriver
