Go back to the other post and look at my last post. Before renameing win.com create a folder on the root of C called Cabs. Copy the win9x folder from the CD-ROM on the other PC to the new folder. Rename win.com. boot the PC with a boot disk and go to the cabs folder. Run setup.

How to install win98 through network:
Connect to CDServer Windows 98 setup files are put in the CDServer. You may connect to it with the steps below:
Right-click on My Computer and click on Map Network Drive ... Enter \\cdserver\win98 into the Path box. Click on Reconnect at logon to uncheck it. Click on OK to connect.
Start Upgrade Double-click on My Computer. Double-click on win98 on 'cdserver'. For US English Win98 upgrade, double-click on Us. For Chinese Win98 upgrade, double-click on Fareast. Double-click on Tradchin. Double-click on Setup to start Win98 upgrade. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup.
