I partition a 2.5G Seagate hard drive with their DiscWizard software in to three logical partitions of 850M as my then motherboard couldn't support the big drive. I then had a problem with booting up so formatted the C: drive. Now I can't load an OS on the disk, and when I put it in as a slave the BIOS sees the disc, but windo#ws doesn't. How can I retrieve the files on the D: and E: partitions (I know they are still there) At the moment the only way to get the use of the disc back is to format the whole thing and obviously I don't want to do that until I have retrieved all my data.

Thanks for any advice.

Hi,
I didn't see any response to your question. Did you solve the problem?
