OS: Win98
CPU/Ram: Pentium III, 256 ram

I starded to get error messages that my computer cant find windows and other programs. After 2 restarts it wont start up at all. Now it wont even say that I have a hard drive. It will start to read in but wont finish, and my hard drive is named !!!!! . And the Wires are all ok.

use a boot up disk... and see if you can access the hardrive..if the coputer does not read it will say..."no fixed disk" something like that meaming that your hardrive does not work anymore or change that cables and check the cmos settings..
