hard drive problem

my c: drive won't go over 2gb.... I have checked around the internet and was advised to change my mem from fat 16 to fat 32..... which I did and the problem didnt go away... I'm completly supposed to have 20 gb which it even says in dos...
Converting from FAT16 to FAT32 will not automaticly resize it. You will either have to use a third party partitioning program such as Partition Magic to resize it or reformat the drive now that it is FAT32. The second option will cause you to loose all your data.

If you don't have a repartitioning program like Partition Magic, you will have to use fdisk to delete the current partition(s) and repartition. Use a Win98 floppy and se;ect "large drive support' at the beginning of fdisk.
