I RECIENTLY INSTALLED A SECOND HARD DRIVE INTO MY WINDOWS 95 RUN PENTIUM SYSTEM. WINDOWS WILL ONLY RECOGNIZE 1.3 GB OF THE 4.3 GB AVAILIBLE. HOW DI I FIX IT? I CANT FIND A WAR TO EVEN PARTITION IT.

I have a Quantum Fireball Plus KA 6.4 GB hard drive. I have tried FDisk.exe and boot up but when it starts up windows95....it says no operating system detected. Help!

Alb,

you may have an old motherboard, I know that the LX MB can only recognize up to 8 gigs.
Maybe your first hard drive is too big already (about 7gigs)

i have problems with my hard drive when trying to format it. a message appears saying invalid media or track 0 bad-disk unusable

and in scan disk there's and overflow telling me to check stacks config.sys

can you help me plz

ahhh
i jist bought a 20 gig h/d and i set it to slave and it wouldn't format it, and when i finally did it said something like "bootlog error virus something something"
i am worried that i bought a screwed h/d
any advice?
