I can tell you it didn't work for my drive with bad sectors...

You need a windows bootdisk.
Copy debug.exe from c:\windows\command to it.
Copy the file Killhdd.bat to it too.

BUT: if you have a good c-drive and want to try to restore a d-drive with bad sectors you need to change the line 0080 in 0081 ! !

It is done this way: rightclick the file, choose Edit and change 0080 in 0081 (or 0082 if it is the e-drive). Than save it to the boot disk.

Boot up with the floppy disk and run Killhdd.bat to remove all data on the hard disk on your computer. (Just, at the a-prompt, type: killhdd ).

"This will remove everything from your disks, including the errors. One you've done that, just reboot and use your hard drive as if it were brand new".

This is what the makers say it does. It did nothing to my disk.
