My second hard drive recently failed and my diagnistic utility said it was uncorrectable. Whenever try to access the drive at all (including DOS), my PC freezes. Does anyone know any FREE utlities (DOS or Win32) that I might be able to backup as much data as possible without my PC freezing? Please list as many as possible. Thanks

Hi,

Don't know SW to backup. But try SpinRite to save the drive's life.
