Comment:

I am getting unprompted Hard drive and floppy activity. I have a firewall that has served me well but I seem to have a program calling itself ‘User stats’ in the close program dialogue box (after I press control – alt –delete). I have tried to find the program in windows explorer using file name connotations and the ‘containing text’ search option without success. I will try some of the suggested anti trojan programs (thanks to Falconfig_ultra and Frenchie). Is there no manual way of tracking this ‘User stats’ program down ?

Thanks

DaveB
