hard disk partition and format

iam not able to partition my hard disk through fdisk... after i partition into 4 partoitions and reboot to format my hard disk... but iam seeing only one partition that too in non dos partion ... what may be the problemmm i tried to use disk manager also .. but not possible....

remove the non-DOS partiton using the zero fill utility. go to ADVANCED OPTIONS, MAINTENANCE OPTIONS, UTILITIES. run zero fill to remove all info on the drive.
then try to repartition using the 98 boot disk.

If FDISK won't delete that non DOS partition then download a program called DELPART that will do the job. After, you will be able to set up a FAT 32 partition using FDISK. Download DELPART from www.bootdisk.com Click UTILITIES in right hand column, then scroll down to Partitioning section.
