The date/time stamp on the ~majority~ of Win 98 system files (ie; command.com, io.sys) is;

98FE = 11/24/1998 8:02 AM

98SE = 4/23/1999 10:22 PM

How does this jive with June? Just curious. Was my MS CD a later "pressing"? Windows 98, Canadian Edition? ;>)

I found Windows 98's release date on wikipedia. I thought "since it's 2008, i'll see when Windows 98 turns 10." When I saw June 25 (I was looking at this yesterday) I thought "darn, i'm a day late!"

I guess we'll go by June 30...
