At shutdown the computer hangs at the windows 98 shutdown screen.Does anyone know how to fix this.

Hi, There is a Windows 98 SE shut down fix http://www.microsoft.com/Windows98/downloads/contents/WURecommended/S_WUFeatured/Win98SE/Default.asp Even if you have previously applied this fix, do so again. When running WIN 98 SE, I found that the computer(s) lost the fix regularly and had shutdown problems Reapplying the fix solved this hth Ceri

probably because win 98 sucks is the same file at majorgeeks? mine does that so much i just turn the power strip switch off
