Comment:

This machine worked fine until we stored it for 4 months. When we tried to bring it back up, all we got was a message that reads as follows:

Diskette drive 0 seek failure
Automatic configuration failure
Hard disk failure
Invalid configuration Information
Floppy drive A: failed initialization tests
Strike F1 key to continue

When I hit F1, nothing happens

HELP!!!!!!!

Check your cables!

1)Diskette drive 0 seek failure

3)Hard disk failure
4)Invalid configuration Information
5)Floppy drive A: failed initialization tests
6)Strike F1 key to continue

1) Can't find drive
2) Because it can't find it, it can't configure.
3) Cannot find harddrive
4) No harddrive or floppy - Prollem
5) No drive to initialize
6) Prolly to access bios...you might have pulled yer keyboard cable/MB socket.

Is your CMOS Battery O.K.
If not your bios will lose all it's settings.
Enter 'Setup' when booting and check to see if it has lost it's information.
if it has then 10/1 it is your battery.
