CPU/Ram: Athlon 2800+ 1024mb RAM

Hi,

Graphics Card : Radeon 9500 (with latest drivers)
Mobo : Unknown :s

Im having major problems with my computer. When i boot up i get a pixelly screen appear inbetween the XP loading screen and the welcome screen. Also, my AGP setting is set to OFF!. When i try to change this and restart the setting is back on off again.

help!

First of all, did you get rid of the old driver for the old graphics card thru device manager? Did you check and make sure it was set to VGA before installing the new card?

Did you go into BIOS and make sure that any graphics settings are set to AGP and not PCI? Do not use shaddowing. Disable these settings. Make sure your AGP aperture size
is correct for the card, ex. 128 MB for a 128 MB card.

no luck :(

could not find shadowing anywhere in the setup thing but everything else has been tried :(
