Hi,

I'm using a Win95 machine with Office97.
Whenever, I launch Powerpoint, I get an error messsage, "System dangerously low on resources". I'm NOT EVEN running anything else!!!

I have tried reinstalling but I still get the same result. I also get an error General Protection Fault - User.exe.

Anyone has any idea what is going on with my machine???

Thanks in advance!!!

Joel

Reply:

Copy user.exe from another working system
boot your system through floopy drive and copy user.exe in windows directory.

And uninstall ms office 97 and also delete msoffice directory from your harddisk drive
c:\progra~1\msoffice97
reboot your pc and install msoffice 97 again
