GDI.EXE error!

I have a problem running Windows 95 on my computer. Everytime I reboot, I get the message "Error loading gdi.exe. Try installing Windows."
I used DOS to check the file 'GDI.EXE' and the file was there and I don't wanna lose the programs I already have on drive C.
Also, I don't have a Windows 95 CD-ROM, since I bought a 2nd hand computer and they don't provide CD-ROMs.

Try to overwrite that file GDI.exe with someone else's GDI.exe file. Be sure its for the same OS , same version. I already had that problem before and it resolved that problem.

I am running proprietary software and get the GDI.exe error when I try to print. The OS is Windows 98 4.10.1998. Is there an update to this .exe and can I download it.

I get an error when I boot up my system I get Error loading gdi.exe Reload Windows. I tried to reload but it was from a win 95 OS. Is there a place on the internet where I can download a GDI.exe for windows 98 OS
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
