Hi... Everytime I go into My Computer... my computer will start going really slow... my mouse will freeze... c drive, control panel, and any other folder in there, will load really, really slow, it takes me forever to use it... i don't know why... if any body has an idea help me.

You can use WinTop to check who is using all those clock cycles :

An overtop install usually fixes any problems, just put your Win98 CD in the drive and doubleclick setup.exe at the CD root.

It could be your anti virus if you have any, i used to find on my old system that opening a folder took ages while it did scan of the contents the same used to happen if i opened my computer.

Thanks for the help but i figured it out... I used this program called XoftSpy it takes out • Adware • Spyware • Trojans • W32 Spybot • Dialers • Homepage Hijackers • Malware • Keyloggers • Spy PopUps And now my computer is running fast... heres the website if you guys need it... http://www.anti-adware.net/

Spybot S&D will do the trick for you....it's free and also adaware. They work well together....HTH
