I have worked a couple of days on this problem. This hardrive that is recently formated is clean as a whistle. I have tested the hd and its definetly not causing the freeze up. After a couple minutes of idle time it freezes up. No way it could be overheating so please any suggestions would help.

this might work or it might not,its a case of ilimination, sometimes i get the same problem when i downloaded mp3s or games from the net not knowing which one is causing the problem it would startup ok and then frezze.
i had to delete the files i recently downloaded and it worked ok,with the mp3s they seem to have files that piggyback on the mp3 that you don,t know thats there,
spyware, try that and use the illimination
prosess...
i know its not that much information but i'll
keep my eye open about this problem...
best wishes

WHEN YOU START UP AND USE "CTRL+ALT+DELETE"
TO SHUT DOWN ALL PROGRAMS YOU HAVE TO HAVE
EXPLORER AND SYSTRAY ACTIVE DO NOT SHUT THESE TWO DOWN...

YOU NEED TO GIVE A BIT MORE INFO ON THE EXACT PROBLEM...
