Is there a Free Trial or Free ISP that I can use for my laptop that after the trial period is over, my account is deleted and no questions asked. So no need to put in billing info.

NetZero gives you 10 hours per month at no charge.

I've never seen an ISP that doesn't require billing information for the trial period nor have I seen one that automatically cancels the account...you have to do that and you'd better keep the confirmation number they give you when you cancel.

Skip is right. There is no ISP that will give you a Free Trial with requiring some information at the start.

When you think about it, its quite logical. If you just started a Free Trial with no questions asked, what is to stop you starting another free trial straight after ad infinitum.

This is a dial up account and a percentage of the phone charges will go to netzero, so it is not really "free". The paid service will be to a free phone number. You will also be subject to advertising that is not present on the paid service.

I guess it would depend where you are located. I use NetZero for a backup and have a wide range of local phone numbers to choose from. No additional charges.

But you are absolutely right about ads. As well, you get a banner which can be docked at either the top or bottom of IE.
