You can use this app: "Citadel Safstor" to encrypt any file on your PC and then you can copy it to any other medium (floppy or CD) and it can ONLY be opened ON YOUR PC WITH YOUR PASSWORD. Even if someone else has this app on their PC, it won't open on their PC because it uses a random seed generated from random mouse movements when you set it up on your PC. It is available FREE at:

Sounds like you have to put all your Faith in that random seed. I presume it is carefully hidden.
If you can't back it up it sounds scary; if you can then it can be copied by someone else for use on their computer.
Is that right?
