When I boot I get this message for "Windows has found new hardware"-PCI Communication Device-What it wants me to do is install the drivers.Problem is,I dont know what this device is and I have not been able to find the correct driver for it.I always cancel it and everything seems to work fine.Also,this did not start untill I formatted C:/ And did a clean install of W98SE

It's your modem. You will need to install the drivers for it.

right click my computer>click properties>click device manager>click the + next to modems.if there is any exclamation marks in yellow, select them then remove them.look for any more exclamation marks in th device list remove them as well.you might have to remove the modem from you device manager and reinstall the drivers, or you will get this message all the time.
