I have a hard drive that I wish to reformat and will be using as my back-up drive,(removeable docking), at present the drive is partitioned which I will no longer need, when I try to format it I get a "no can do" message or similar!!
If your having trouble formatting your hard disk partition, boot from msdos disk and run dos command FDISK select option in menu to remove partition(s). Then repeat to create new partition(s). Then after restarting, you should be able to format partitions without any probs.
