i formated my compaq laptop running win95 due to some problems. NOW I'M STUCK AS IT DOESN'T HAVE A CDROM DRIVE. I'm havinf problems copying the win95 into diskettes. Do i need to install a dos programme first? i have access to another pc that has an internal zip drive. will that help in any way?

Doesn't physically have a CD-ROM drive, or doesn't see it?

Hi, you can use any startup disc from windows 98, just borrow one, or download one from "microsoft.com" look for "ultimate startup disc" good luck Amir
