Trying to install Windows 95. I want to format the C:\ drive, but after just 27% complete it gives error message of insufficient memory. I can't complete the installation of Win 95. Any ideas and/or solutions? I previously tried to install Win 95, but it wouldn't reboot without the bootup disk. So I tried to repeat the process in case I missed a step.

Memory shouldn't be a problem with formatting. Get another bootdisk. I think I a windows 98 bootdisk should work also. Boot from the floppy and format through there. Read this short tutorial on how to format. If there are still any questions, post back.

Hope that helps.

Kevin.
