I need to re-format and partition my hardrive.
Is there a book or document of some kind that would walk me through this process.

Frequently I have computer problems, where at times, I'll be doing something, and it'll just stop, and restart. Every now and then, a blue screen will pop up, as well. Or sometimes, my screen'll just freeze. Now, a friend of mine suggested that i format my hardrive. i know this means i'll lose just about everything. Is this a good idea? And also, when i tried to format it, I was told that it couldn't because I had converted it to FAT32. So, i tried doing it over MS-DoS, and it couldn't because "Drive C: is currently in use by another process". I have absolutely no idea what i should do. I'd be ever so grateful if somebody could get back to me, via e-mail, with some help. Thank you.
