I'm running Win98se, and I want to change the font size in Explorer.
My Monitor is set at 1024 x 768 (which I like), and now the writing is too small. The Large Icons option is sweet, and I changed Font Sizae through the Desktop Settings, but that only applies to certain views, and not the listing in Explorer. That includes the font under the icons on the Desktop, too.
I would just leave all the settings alone and reset the display back to 800x600 quick and simple, no f---ing around :) I am thinking that you have a 15inch monitor or smaller?
YOu can keep your setting at 1040 X 480. Just go to the display properties (right click on the desktop and click properties), then click the appearance tab and choose windows extra large in the schemes. That way you can keep your settings and have large font.
