Folder View Keeps Changing

Everytime I open MY Computer & Windows Explorer the folder view has changed. I have them set to my preference and next time I visit that particular window they have changed back. I have went into Folder Options and clicked on View, Remember folder view etc. with no permanent results. Open for suggestions/information on how to correct this annoying problem.

After doing that try restarting your computer.

First do that again then untick Remember folder view
click apply
again tick Remember folder view
and click apply

No, that didn't help either. This is getting very aggravating. In MY Computer I prefer to see the folders in Large Icons, I set it that way. In Windows Explorer I prefer view in List, I set it that way as well. When I return to My Computer they have all changed back to List and Explorer has changed back to large Icons. DAM

Don't know if this will help (I haven't exactly tried it) but click the REFRESH button after making your choice. The button is a down at the bottom in the VIEW menu. Hope this helps
