Hello all.
I had an unfortunate thing happen to my Windows 95 disc this weekend.
I was moving my desk around, re-arranging my room, when it fell off and landed between the leg and the wall. I didn't notice it. Until I shoved the desk closer to the wall.
CRUNCH.
The disc and case, put together, make up over 40 pieces of useless plastic.
Where can I go to d/l the setup disk images for Windows 95?

Boot disk?
Thanks, but I need the whole set. I have nothing to catch me if my computer decides to ralph it's HD's contents out the floppy disk drive. So, I need the WHOLE set.

I have the whole set. How do you think I got the win95a boot disk? I can email them
but hotmail won't accept them. Tried it before. I need a better mailbox to send them
to, like yahoo or your server mailbox. Or if you want I could send the disks by
snailmail if you give me an address. I think I'd die if I ever lost my set. Have used
them soooooo many times now. Best $60 I ever spent on a windows program. I'm
more than glad to help just let me know how.

I... don't think Windows 95a would work out. As far as I know, that version is NOT compatible w/ a FAT32 file system, which is a bad thing for me. My drives are native FAT32, and I don't want to screw them up with a FAT16 FS.
Thanks for your help, but I'll have to do a little scouring of my own to find what Ima looking for. :)
And, no offense, but Windows 98 SE OEM ownz j00. I need Windows 95 for my "main" computer; the one with all the important crap on it.
I'm weird. I keep sensitive data on the crappy system, and all the good games on the 1Ghz Athlon.

fat 16 is truly more reliable than fat 32 but fat 32 saves space by making the allocation units smaller fat 16 would not screw up ur disc

hey got at least 200 mhz and a gig or 2 on that puppy and oh yeah 32 megs of ram well try putting 98 on it

Uh, you want me to convert a brand new, 40GB HD, to FAT16? Thanks, but I don't think I'll go about converting it to FAT32 simply because "it's more reliable". Dunno where you heard that, but FAT32 is just as reliable as FAT16.
And cd (interesting name, btw), it's an old 486SX/DX2 dual processor system, w/ 24MB of RAM, and a 512 MB HD. I've done Windows 98 SE before, it's not worth it for the slow-down you have to deal with.
