I have bought a new 8GB pen flas drive. I moved some documents and files containing things photos and music. When i plug the pen into a different computer it shows what i had originally saved. I now however want to remove the items saved on it. I have deleted most of the items but some will not delete. When i try to open or delete these items it says 'unreadable or corrupted file.' The folders show as empty and have 0bytes when i open their properties. But the flash drive is showing that it has 7GB of stuff on it still. Any ideas how i can delete the items that show and clear everything off the drive, when it says 'cannot delete - unreadable or corrupted.'
If the drive is appearing in My Computer then right click on the drive listing and select format. FAT32 is normally used for best compatiblility. Try quick format, if that doesn't clearup any problems using the drive then try complete format.
