FireFox 2.0 will run on Win98 but why are you only running 32MB RAM? Nothing is gonna run well with that little memory. If possible, upgrade to at least 128MB.

And if upgrading the RAM is not an option, I'd try Opera, which doesn't use quite as many resources as FF.

I'd run with T-R-A.
Firefox 2 is way out of date. Opera is right up to date. I've got it on my W98SE for those very reasons and it works just fine.
Like any new browser it takes a little while to get used to it but it is well worth the effort. I've used IE, Firefox, and Seamonkey on various machines - Opera compares quite nicely and is probably the only current browser that supports W98.
some other bloke...

No Firefox or Opera versions i could find supported 32 MB RAM (they supported 64MB min.). However you should try Netscape 6.1 (98 compatible) which supports a minimum of 8 MB. Netscape was Internet explorer's original competitor in the early 1990's. I highly recommend Netscape.
The link for Netscape 6.1 is:

I got Firefox 2.0.0.20 to work on my computer with only 32MB of ram. I don't know how I did it, but I did.
