I am buying a new computer and want to transfer files/programs from my old computer to the new one. My old computer has windows95, but I am installing Windows98 in the ndew one. I have Winlink which can transfer files but uses the old DOS 8.3 nomenclature making it a pain to rename all files. Secondly it cannot transfer program because it cannot locate registry entries. Is there any shareware/ freeware or othr program which can transfer files/program with LFN and corresponding registry entries so that I can avoid the tike taking and painful process of installing all programs afresh. Any ideas?
