I have a problem with every file swapper (kazza, imesh, ares, winmx) i try using it wont connect. I am wondering if it could be a old firewall i use to have still left over in the system after deletion. Is there anyway of checking?

kazza & imesh have bugs built into them.
Even after you un-install Kazaa, you will still have the bugs on your system.
Get Spybot Search & Destroy to clean your PC out.

I have KazaaLite, Winmx & ZoneAlarm and don't have any problems.

Check for the firewall in The Control Panel/Add Remove programs.
